I have always been nervous and super uptight about anyone caring for my dogs, especially taking them somewhere to board. Dogs of Tucson was the absolute dream experience I always wanted but never thought I would find. Their playground is fantastic for all dogs. Daytime visits / doggie care are wonderful, and my 2 dogs love going. Recently, I decided to let the dogs stay overnight to see how it would be. THE EXPERIENCE WAS AMAZING!!!!!!⠀

From the reception to the texted photo PUPDATES to pick up, I was OVERJOYED to see my fur babies so well cared for. Truly, it was like taking my fur babies to sleep away camp. At pick up, my dogs were so excited. They had made so many other doggy friends who were there, and my dogs were just having a wonderful time. ⠀

Our dog boarding is DIFFERENT! We don't believe in

Our dog boarding is DIFFERENT! We don't believe in traditional boarding– that's why we have a unique approach! This includes:

🐾 Overnight staff: Your dog will have human company 24/7. Dogs are comfortable staying with us, because they already know our team. You can count on plenty of cuddles and human attention!
🐾 Cage-free or kennel-free Boarding: Our pups are all familiar with each other and we always have a team member on-site with them. This allows us to comfortably welcome dogs without the need for crating them! They'll enjoy dog daycare during the day and get plenty of breaks to rest, as well.
🐾 Never understaffed: Some boarding places are tragically understaffed. Our team NEVER has more than 10-12 dogs per human working. We're always fully capable of handling the number of dogs we're watching!
🐾 No Up-Charges: We don't add up-charges for pictures and updates– we always send at least two updates a day!

We always aim to make your dog's experience fun and comfortable. That's why we call them "staycations!"

Introduce your kids to dog caretaking with our upcoming Youth Dog Training Camp!

This 6-week training camp is made for kids age 7 and older to come and learn some training tricks with a dog, including: heel, sit, stay, leave it, and more! This experience will include homework and handouts after each session as well as hands-on techniques to practice and skills for staying safe around dogs. The camp will take place every Monday starting 3/24 from 6–7pm.

Something you might notice right away is the barking– loud vocalizing is a normal part of happy play! You also probably noticed that one of the playmates is just watching and standing back. Deciding to take a break is a great sign, because that means a dog is regulating their excitement and emotions. You’ll also see big, bouncy motions from the two running around, which we love. Play movements are usually exaggerated like this.

We offer a cage-free approach, so your pup will have freedom to roam, play, and rest whenever they want. This includes dog daycare during the day for playtime and enrichment as well as affection and more play time with a 24/7 human guardian overnight. Another benefit of our staycations is that your pup will already know our team, so the human they're with will be a familiar face that they're already comfortable with!
