THE BARK PARK RULES
Information & Helpful Tips For Your First Visit.
- $25 deposit is required to hold you social eval appointment. We do charge cancellation fees for no shows. These policies can be found here.
- Contact your veterinarian and have them email you (or us waggintails@dogsoftucson.com) a copy of your dog’s vaccination records.
- Start an account with us and provide the necessary information.
- Upload proof of your dog’s Bordetella, Parvo, Distemper, Lepto, and Rabies vaccination records to your account. Please bring a hardcopy if you don’t own a smartphone so that our staff can link them to your account. We do not accept self-administered vaccinations.
- You are responsible for your dog’s behavior at all times.
- Please schedule a social test. When you arrive at your scheduled time, come to check-in so we can meet you and your dog(s). You will need to have a signed waiver and a member pass. Each dog’s temperament (ie. social test) will be checked upon their first visit to help ensure dog park safety. There will be NO walk-in social tests.
- Visit our FAQs section for more dog park information.
Facility Rules
- Humans must be 16 years old to attend without a parent or guardian. Humans under 16 are not allowed at DoT, except during special family events, which will be noted on our events calendar.
- NO toys or balls are allowed in the park, except during special events. Please check the calendar availability.
- NO outside food or drink. We have food and drinks here that we would love for you to enjoy! This includes treats for you and your dogs.
- You are responsible for your dog(s) behavior, safety, and any injury or damage they inflict or encounter.
- You knowingly and voluntarily assume any risk of harm to you and your dog. Upon creating an account, you will be asked to sign a waiver prior to visiting.
- PLEASE clean up after your dog(s). If your pup happens to have an accident inside, (we try to keep all pees and poops OUTSIDE!) please kindly clean it up or alert a staff member to assist, if you need help.
- You must accompany your dog(s) at all times. After all, you are here to hang out WITH your dog! If you can’t keep an eye on your pup for any reason, please ask a Park Rufferee for help.
- Respect the Park Rufferees. They are here to maintain safe play. Think of them as lifeguards. They may re-direct play or ask you to keep a better eye on your pup.
- Your dog must have a membership. Humans are always free with their dog. If attending without a dog, you must pay the park entrance fee and have a signed waiver on file.
- Dog(s) in the facility must wear a collar displaying their name.
- Owners please keep your leash with you while using the facility. This will allow for easy evacuation incase of an emergency.
We can only maintain this unique and fun experience if everyone takes care of each other as well as following our rules and guidelines. Thank you for playing a part in keeping our community safe and happy!
Kid Policy
Our number one goal is to ensure the safety of our members and to take whatever steps necessary to reduce the likelihood of an unfortunate accident. That being said, we absolutely love our human kiddos and many of us have our own. We know that many of you have them, too! We also know that some kiddos might, with the best of intentions, engage in behavior that is not ideal at our facility, such as running, approaching unfamiliar dogs the wrong way, climbing on dog play equipment, etc. We also know that some of the pups that play here aren’t familiar with kids and may not engage well around young children.
We have put a lot of time and thought into how best to handle the interest of adults bringing their children to the park, but have decided to not allow kids at our facility, except during special family events. So, check the calendar, and if it is not a noted family night, plan for a babysitter and have a chill night out with your fur children! See you soon!
