Welcome to Dog Yoga! We're now hosting it on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays every month at 7am! 🐾⠀
Bring your best fur-riend in to enjoy this special, relaxing yoga class with you. Our first session is coming up on December 14th! ⠀

Members can join in for free! Non-member humans can attend for just $5 per session.⠀
Non-member dogs can attend for $25 per session, but they'll need to meet our membership requirements. Rules for all dogs entering our facility can be found on our website.⠀

We are officially entering canine ‘cough and col

We are officially entering canine ‘cough and cold’ season and there have been reports of another upper respiratory infection in other states, however, currently no reported cases in Tucson. We want to be upfront in addressing this season as well as proactive in keeping all your pups healthy.

Like children at school or daycare, dogs can easily spread viruses to each other. We clean and sanitize multiple times a day & require vaccinations to help minimize the spread of these types of viruses, not all strains are controlled by the vaccine and disinfecting doesn’t always kill the virus because it is airborne.

Being airborne, your dog may contract it almost anywhere, this includes their own yard, through a fence, walking, training, a pet-friendly store/restaurant, dog parks, daycare, boarding facility or veterinarian's office.

WHAT WE CAN DO TO MINIMIZE THE SPREAD:

🐾 Refrain from bringing your dog to a public dog park or a place where vaccinations are not required.

🐾 Make sure they are up to date on the Bordetella vaccine. To further protect our guests, we require vaccinations for Bordetella, Distemper, Parvo, Leptospirosis, and Rabies.

🐾 Monitor your pup closely for flu-like symptoms and keep them home if they are displaying a dry hacking cough, have nasal or eye discharge, are sneezing, show a decrease in appetite, or are more lethargic than usual.

WHAT WE ARE DOING TO MINIMIZE THE SPREAD:

🐾 We will continue to maintain a very extensive cleaning procedure and disinfect the facility multiple times throughout the day. We use high-grade disinfectants in all areas including outdoors.

🐾 We will be sending any dog home who exhibits any signs of huffing, reverse sneezing, coughing, or runny nose.

🐾 We will continue to be strict with ensuring all vaccine documents are up-to-date. We require vaccinations for Bordetella, Distemper, Parvo, Leptospirosis, and Rabies.

We are staying cautious, alert, and transparent and will continue to monitor and listen to our advisors to make sure that our facility stays safe and that we can all enjoy a safe, happy, and healthy winter season.

What is Timid Tuesday? Timid Tuesday is for those humans (and sometimes the dogs) interested, but may need a little more courage. Some of us dog owners have had a traumatic experience in our past and need more courage to properly social our dogs. Just ask Frankie to share what happened to Macy as a pup.

Timid Tuesday is a private appt to come sniff and meet a few members of the team. Interested in learning more, give us a call and we can give you the 411!

We are coordinating playgroups to do safe introductions of our members. Our team of rufferees are on site to do the introductions and we will never have more than 10 dogs per playgroup! Now is the best time to get comfortable with the fellow members. Interested in being involved in a playgroup? Give us a call and we will get you scheduled!
